The ICTI Ethical Toy Program (IETP) named Todd Merton to the newly created role of head of business development. IETP is the specialist responsible sourcing program for the toy industry.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to work with world’s leading retailers, brands, and companies to ensure their products are being made in the most ethical manner and improving the lives of the workers responsible for that production,” Merton said.
Based in the U.S., Merton brings experience developing strategic partnerships, including licensing agreements with companies that include Marvel, ViacomCBS, and Warner Bros.
At the ICTI Ethical Toy Program, he will focus on strengthening relationships with existing program members and adding new members across retail, toys, manufacturing, and brand licensing.
