Kids and family-focused media agency Blue Plate Media Services (BPMS), based in North America, has welcomed Paul Caldera to its team as Director of Television Investments.
A past stakeholder in Beacon Media, Paul Caldera joins the expanding team of media strategists at BPMS to help its growing roster of toy companies and entertainment brands elevate their messaging in a new era of marketing defined by changing consumer behavior, shrinking network ratings, and fragmented media channels. Caldera will leverage his 25 years of kids and moms expertise in linear television as part of BPMS’ cross-channel approach.
“Caldera has heart — and history,” said David Becker, President and Founder of BPMS. “While media has changed considerably since his early agency days, and TV has evolved into a single spoke in the kid and family media wheel, I see Paul as an agency historian and a masterful buyer. He brings a wealth of client history to the BPMS team along with deep rooted relationships on the buy side, ensuring efficiencies will be further leveraged and fully realized by our roster of valued clients.”
“I could not be more excited to work with BPMS and their passionate and dedicated team of media maestros,” said Caldera. “Over the past 20 years, I’ve witnessed from afar their steady agency growth, their early use of digital and TV media planning and buying, and the etiquette they brought to the kid and family agency space. In my new role, I will passionately manage TV Investments at BPMS, ensuring that TV and video efficiencies are fully realized and expertly enveloped into the larger mix.”
“We are thrilled to have Paul join our expanding agency team,” said Denise Vannucci, Partner and Group Director at Blue Plate Media. “His experience, knowledge and understanding of children’s media, coupled with his eagerness to stay ahead of the TV and video curve, make him a welcome addition to our team, while maintaining our best-in-class agency status and delivering on the foundational performance needs of our BPMS clients.”
