JPMA Names MAM’s Mitchell to Board
The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) announced the appointment of Jennifer Mitchell, who is the CEO of MAM Baby North America, as the newest member of the JPMA board of directors. Mitchell joined MAM in 2013 as vice-president of sales, and was instrumental in leading major retailer programs and partnerships across North America. Her background includes more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and management leadership positions with blue chip consumer packaged goods companies including Clorox and Gillette.
Mitchell was appointed to the JPMA board to fulfill the remaining term in a seat left vacant by a former director. She joins 12 other representatives of member companies currently serving as JPMA’s volunteer board of directors. Board member responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sustaining JPMA’s mission and purpose; ensuring effective planning; monitoring and strengthening programs and services of JPMA; providing oversight of the JPMA budget and financial reporting; building a competent board; ensuring legal and ethical integrity; and enhancing JPMA’s public standing.
Rouillé Joins Planeta Junior
Planeta Junior announced that Erick Rouillé has joined the company as Country Manager for France and International TV Sales Director. He has worked for over 20 years in the animation and TV sector and has broad experience in both consumer products and TV sales. He comes from France Televisions Distribution, where he served as senior vice-president of sales. Prior to that he was EVP Sales, TV and Licensing at French animation company Xilam handling worldwide TV sales and consumer products for the company’s catalog. In 2008 Rouillé helped in the start up of Planeta Junior in France as Commercial Director.
He will report to Diego Ibáñez Belaustegui, International Commercial Director, and will be responsible for developing the business and Planeta Junior’s strategy in the French market with new series like Magiki and Pio Rocks! and representing Care Bears, Mia and Me, Wissper, or Tip The Mouse among others. Moreover, he will be in charge of International TV Sales for the Planeta Junior animation series
