Terceira Promoted to President of Diamond Select Toys
Chuck Terceira has been promoted to president of Diamond Select Toys & Collectibles, LLC (DST). He has served as the director of DST for the past nine years, and before DST’s formation he was the purchasing brand manager for Diamond Comic Distributors’ toy team. In his new position, he will continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of DST, as well as Art Asylum, DST’s in-house design studio.
Fochetta Joins Reader’s Digest Children’s Publishing
Frank Fochetta has been named trade sales director for Reader’s Digest Children’s Publishing. He will oversee sales into all retail, mass, and specialty markets, and also help lead new business development.
Recently, Fochetta was sales director for Quayside Publishing Group, overseeing all selling activity. He was vice-president of field and special sales at Simon & Schuster for 10 years where he oversaw the sales of Reader’s Digest.
Worx Hires Marrone
Worx Toys, makers of Edutech and BoPo Nail Polish, announced that Barry Marrone will join the company as director of sales. Marrone joins Worx from Pacific Play Tents where he was national sales manager. Effective immediately, Marrone will be responsible for Worx Toys sales and distribution for North America in both the specialty and mass markets.
New Hires at Sayles & Winnikoff
Sayles & Winnikoff Communications, the boutique public relations firm, announced the hiring of Yuri Kwon as senior account executive and Michelle Lauren Addo as account executive.
Prior to joining Sayles & Winnikoff, Kwon was a senior publicist at Blake Zidell & Associates.
Addo joins the company from Appular, where she served as production manager.
Neal Joins Innovative Artists
January Neal has joined the licensing and branding department at Innovative Artists. The agency represents internet sensations Sophia Grace & Rosie, among many other properties.
Neal joins the company from Jakks Pacific where she managed the girls licensing division.
