N.S. Bienstock Hires Kaufman
NY-based talent agency N.S. Bienstock, Inc. has tapped veteran licensing executive Sid Kaufman as a branding and licensing agent. Kaufman’s responsibilities will include licensing, sponsorship and spokesperson representation, business development, branding consulting, and non-scripted television packaging representation.
FremantleMedia Hires Brent
FremantleMedia Enterprises, North America, has hired Andrea Brent as vice-president of consumer products. She will be responsible for extending and growing FremantleMedia’s consumer products and licensing business. She will also oversee brand development, sales, marketing, and retail expansion of FremantleMedia television shows, children’s content, live events, and third party brands.
Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products Adds New Hires
Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products (FCP) has appointed Elizabeth Bohannon as vice-president, global brand management, TV and Jonathan Linn as vice-president, global brand management, film. In the new positions, Bohannon and Linn will lead brand strategy for some of Fox’s biggest entertainment properties including Glee, The Simpsons, and Avatar. Bohannon was previously vice-president, family marketing at Paramount Home Entertainment, managing theatrical and non-theatrical releases of family franchises including Nickelodeon, Hasbro, and PBS. Linn most recently worked in the Disney Live family entertainment area, leading the international Disney Live events business such as Disney on Ice live shows.
Nan Staddon will also join the global brand management team as vice-president, strategy and financial planning. Staddon will work closely with department heads to help define FCP’s strategic business plan, company growth initiatives, and market opportunities for the future. She previously held the position of executive director, business development at Fox Television Studios.
Other new FCP hires include Sammy Nieto as director of licensing for Asia Pacific and Latin America and Rob Hall as FCP Retail Director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Promotions will elevate Jennifer Buchanan to vice-president of European licensing for EMEA and Louise Collins to director of UK licensing.
Moonscoop Adds New Hires for New Division
Moonscoop, a worldwide brand management and entertainment company, has merged its international TV sales, consumer products, and ancillary rights arms into one division. Under the new structure, David di Lorenzo will head licensing, home entertainment, VOD, and new media for North and Latin America from the Los Angeles office. Brigitte Legendre-Benloulou will head Western European licensing operations with Sebastien Fillion in Paris. Lorenzo, Legendre-Benloulou, and Fillion will report to Lionel Marty, now charged with coordinating worldwide TV distribution and licensing and merchandising.
