Target Hires Pearl
Target Entertainment has appointed Lindsay Pearl as its new director of licensing and children’s acquisitions. She joins Target in June and will be representing the company at Licensing Show in Las Vegas.
Pearl will be responsible for acquiring new kids’ content while also heading up Target’s licensing and merchandising division, which includes the management of the Sony Playstation portfolio. Pearl will also be tasked with devising strategies to drive the company’s brands across all platforms and media.
Previous posts include director of international acquisitions and licensing at Hasbro. Prior to that she was territory manager for Central Eastern Europe, Turkey, and Greece at Cartoon Network, and director of business development at HIT Entertainment for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
