Walmart has introduced a Netflix hub on Walmart.com, which now serves as the largest dedicated online shopping platform for Netflix merchandise in the U.S. It also marks Netflix’s first digital storefront with a national retailer.
Fans who visit the hub will be able to find toys, game, collectibles, apparel, stationery, bedding, and more consumer products available for purchase, based on Netflix’s top properties — including CoComelon, Stranger Things, Ada Twist, Squid Game, The Witcher, Waffles + Mochi, and Nailed It!.
The hub — which is exclusive to Walmart — will also offer interactive shopping experiences. For example, the Netflix Fan Select Feature is a voting system allowing shoppers to weigh in on what products they’d like to see launch from their favorite titles.
“Through this new partnership, Walmart will not only offer products that bring the imagination of Netflix creators into reality, but Walmart customers and Netflix superfans will also find a new, exciting entertainment destination,” Walmart executive vice president of entertainment, seasonal, and toys Jeff Evans wrote in a blog post. “The Netflix Hub brings together some of its most popular shows in its first digital storefront with a national retailer, and we’re proud to partner with them on this new adventure that will let our customers dive even deeper into their favorite stories and characters.”
