Playmobil is boldly going where it hasn’t gone before in a new collaboration with ViacomCBS and Star Trek.
The German toy company unveiled a new model Star Trek — U.S.S. Enterprise ship, launching September 8.
The vessel measures one meter long, with mounting included for display. It includes seven figures of crew members from the original cast of the show (which premiered on September 8, 1966). Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Uhura, Sulu, and Cheko all fit into their traditional spots on the bridge of the spacecraft.
The playset includes lights, sounds, and more technical features and pairs with an augmented reality app to take the Star Trek experience beyond the physical product.
