Three new characters are set to joint the Rainbocorns surprise unboxing egg brand from ZURU. Rainbocorns Puppycorn Surprise and Rainbocorn Fairycorn Surprise, both arrive in stores across the country in July, followed by Rainbocorns Jelly Shake Surprise in August.
“The new additions feature the iconic elements Rainbocorns are known for and are the perfect characters to join the growing family,” said ZURU creative director Adam Woods “From its signature play pattern, to its popular characters, innovative interchangeable reversible hearts, and unique accessories, Rainbocorns has charmed children and parents alike. We’re so excited to have Puppycorns, Fairycorns, and talking Rainbocorns in the mix.”
Puppycorn Surprise comes in a bright teal reusable egg sporting puppy ears, with a puppy-focused unboxing experience that reveals new plush characters, scratch’n’ reveal hearts, scratch’n’sniffstickers, Boo-Boocorn puppies and collectible eggs, Puppycorn poop, and a collectors guide. There are seven Puppycorn plush to collect, including a dachshund, pug, dalmatian, poodle, labrador, husky and rare “Best in Show” bulldog.
With Rainbocorns Fairycorn Surprise, the magical-themed unboxing experience begins with the wearable fairy wings found on the packaging itself. The fairy surprises continue as girls unbox a glitter heart, color-changing Rainbocorn poop, Boo-Boocorn egg, stickers, and a collector’s guide. There are seven Fairycorn characters, including Kittycorn, Unicorn, Bunnycorn, Owlcorn, Poodlecorn, and the rare Golden Hippocorn.
With technology that allows them to sing, repeat, and make other sounds, Rainbocorns Jelly Shake Surprise adds six new characters. Squeezing their paw once will prompt them to sing and squeezing twice makes them speak and repeat. The packaging is ice cream shake-shaped with a jelly heart. Each Rainbocorns Jelly Shake Surprise offers a DIY Jelly experience as girls discover and then make hair clips and rings by mixing jelly and glitter, then setting them in molds.
The new items will be available at Target, Walmart, Amazon, and more retailers.
Designed for children 3 years and older, the Rainbocorns collectible and plush brand encompasses multiple ranges across price points; a licensed property with apparel, stationery, and more; and a content brand. ZURU recently launched 12 Rainbocorns episodes on its online kids’ hub, with new episodes two to three minutes long releasing each week.
