Spin Master will release its Aerobie Sonic Fin on August 22, a new toy football that can travel up to 100 yards.
To help launch the new Sonic Fin Football, the company teamed up with NFL quarterback Russell Wilson, who stars in an ad for the product. In the video — set to air on television and YouTube — Wilson goes up against 13-year-old football star Maxwell ‘Bunchie’ Young, as the two take turns making throws that are each more impressive than the last. Wilson also appears on the product packaging along with his autograph.
“The Sonic Fin Football gives kids the ability to throw like a pro — farther than they have thrown before or ever thought possible,” Wilson said. “So many kids aspire to be professional athletes and the Sonic Fin is engineered to deliver the skill, talent, and power for them to feel like one.”
The ball is designed to create an aerodynamic lift in the air, outfitted with a custom calibration ring to increase the spin rate and improve distance. It adjusts for both left- and right-handed throwers and creates a sonic sound when thrown.

Shoppers can now pre-order the ball, recommended for ages 8 and up, on Target.com, Walmart.com, and Amazon, ahead of its release.
