In a new collaboration with brand extension company Retail Monster, 9 Story Brands is developing a bespoke retail program for its property Karma’s World.
Based on a concept created by rapper and actor Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Karma’s World is a coming-of-age story that will premiere on Netflix later this year. Karma’s World has already secured licensing partners Mattel, Scholastic, and more that have yet to be announced.
“Retail Monster takes a great deal of pride in partnering with world-class licensors on franchise development and retail activations,” said CEO and founder Michael Connolly “Our team could not be more excited to support 9 Story as we work together to drive truly unique retail executions for Karma’s World and more.”
Retail Monster will support the franchise, content and retail sales, and marketing efforts for Karma’s World and the other children’s brands that comprise 9 Story Brands’ growing portfolio. That includes retail programs for Colorforms, Ladybird Lu, and Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum, among others.
“Retail Monster’s experience of driving successful retail programs in the kids’ space is unrivaled,” said Kyra Halperin, co-VP of consumer products for 9 Story. “We are excited to collaborate on unique and innovative retail programs across our brands and offer additional retail support to 9 Story’s licensees.”
