Firefly Brand Management announced that it has secured new key licensing partners for client, the highly anticipated newly animated adult toon series and brand, The Freak Brothers.
Licensing agreements have been secured with Get Down Art – Men’s & Women’s T-Shirts, Paper posters, Canvas Art; Famous Brandz – Small Glass Blown Mystery Pipes ; Hot Properties – Magnets, Key Chains, Buttons, Pins, Squeezies, Stickers, Can Coolers, Lanyards, Air Fresheners, Bottle Openers ; Surreal Ent – Beverageware, Ceramic products, Bedding, Pillows, Stash Jars, Mugs, Bowls, Paperweights, Pens ; Trevco – Knit Tops, T-Shirts, Tank Tops, Sweatshirts, Infant Snap Suits, Bandannas, Blankets, Towels, Pillows, Totes, Stickers; and Blackball for posters.

The world premiere minisode of The Freak Brothers, “Kentucky Fried Freaks,” recently debuted on YouTube and across all of The Freak Brothers social platforms in May, featuring the voices of an all-star cast that includes: Woody Harrelson, John Goodman, Tiffany Haddish and Pete Davidson as well as and John Di Domenico guest starring as Donald Trump. The new series garnered over 3 million views across social media in its first week of streaming.
Alan Cohen and Alan Freedland (King of the Hill, America Dad) will serve as Showrunners, Writers, and Executive Produce alongside Executive Producers Courtney Solomon (AFTER, Mr. Church, An American Haunting, CAKE) and Mark Canton (former Chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Columbia Tri-Star Motion Picture Companies, 300, POWER the series). Woody Harrelson, John Goodman, Tiffany Haddish and Pete Davidson voice the main characters. Workaholics alums Adam Devine and Blake Anderson will also voice two new characters as well as Executive Produce. John Althschuler and Dave Krinsky (Silicon Valley) wrote and are consulting producers while Daniel and Jeremy Lehrer (Highly Gifted) serve as writers and Co-Executive Producers. Gilbert Shelton, the creator of The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers also Executive Produces with Manfred Mroczkowski. Jeffrey S. Edell (President of WTG and former Chairman of MySpace parent company Intermix Media, CEO of Soundelux Entertainment, The Kids Are Alright, Killer Elite, The Grey, Just Friends) will serve as a Co-Executive Producer.
Animation is provided by Starburns Industries (Rick and Morty) and Pure Imagination Studios (The Simpsons).
WTG Enterprises is working on an 8 x 22′ episode package for a fall premiere.
