Crayola Returns to Gaming with ‘Crayola Scoot’
Outright Games, worldwide video game publisher, and Crayola announced a new partnership and the first game in a new line of video games for kids. Crayola Scoot will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC for on October 23. Outright Games will reveal gameplay for the first time at E3 2018.
“We are thrilled to partner with Crayola as they return to the video game space,” says Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games. “Crayola’s drive to provide kids everywhere with relevant and imaginative virtual activities has been an inspiration to us. As we create entertainment for people of all ages to enjoy, we are excited to combine our expertise to develop a brand new way of experiencing creativity with Crayola.”
In Crayola Scoot, the battle for the Crayola Color Cup is on. Trigger traps with a tailwhip, spray on a speed boost, and out-combo the competition. To be champion, players need to beat the Scoot Legends in a rainbow of team and solo events such as Splatter Tag, Trick Run, and the classic Game of S.C.O.O.T. Play friends in a split-screen, four-player split-screen battle. Bigger stunts mean more color and in Crayola Scoot, color can change the world in impossible ways.
Warren Schorr, Vice President of Business Development and Global Licensing at Crayola says “At Crayola, we’re all about inspiring creativity through colour and innovative play experiences, and our partnership with Outright Games allows us to extend that passion to new and exciting areas.”
