Fisher-Price Has Gone to the Dogs
Fisher-Price, Inc., has entered the pet category with pet toys that bring fun and nostalgia to pet owners. Inspired by classic Fisher-Price icons, the whimsical toys for dogs feature items such as the Xylobone, Chatter Pup Telebone, and Ruff-a-Stack. The pet toys will launch exclusively in U.S. and Canadian PetSmart stores and online at PetSmart.com this month.
With plenty of ropes to pull and tug, many of the toys are peanut-butter scented and squeak when bitten to provide hours of fun for dogs. There is even a treat dispenser and pop-up “fire hydrant” for storing all of the pet toys. The pet collection will retail for approximately $7.99–$12.99 (U.S.) at PetSmart.
Precious Moments, Roman Partner for Christian Line
Precious Moments, Inc., has announced a licensing agreement with fellow giftware manufacturer Roman, Inc., to design and distribute inspirational products for the Christian market. The two companies will combine their individual strengths in the marketplace to create products uniquely suited to the Christian consumer. Roman will work alongside Precious Moments to create a product line similar to its own that features Samuel J. Butcher’s artwork.
The initial licensed introduction, due out this fall, will include sacramental gifts available for the first quarter of 2011. Later introductions will include more inspirational product, including plaques, crosses, and frames, as well as a line of Christmas products.
Pink Cookie in Eastern Europe
CopCorp Licensing recently announced that Plus Licens (the agency recently appointed by CopCorp to launch and manage the popular Pink Cookie international fashion brand throughout Eastern Europe, the Baltic, and Nordic Countries) has signed its first two licensees in Eastern Europe.
Karton P+P has been granted the rights to manufacture and sell Pink Cookie boxes, bags, stationery, and school products in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic.
Top-2000 Hamelin SP Z.O.O. has been granted the rights to manufacture and sell Pink Cookie back-to-school products throughout Poland.
