Hosted by Western Toy & Hobby Representatives Association (WTHRA), plans for the 59th annual ToyFest West, are well underway. The event will be taking place at Las Vegas’ South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa, March 8-10, 2020.
Having kicked-off the planning earlier this summer, many things have been worked into the show already. Favorites such as the 300 free Hotel Room Night Promotion, the Educational Seminar, cash product raffle, Best of ToyFest, and the welcoming Gala, will all be returning in 2020. Similar to last year, toy industry individuals will be inducted into the Western Toy & Hobby Representatives Hall of Fame and a Retailer of the Year will be honored at the banquet.
WTHRA will also be introducing some new features and events to the lineup. Before the show opens, Sunday March 8 at 8 a.m.- 10 a.m. there will be a Morning Masterpieces Kit Session taking place, in which retailers will have the opportunity to get hands-on with the newest craft and creative kits available to the market.
Another 2020 feature is the modification of the Western Toy & Hobby Representatives Association membership. In years past, WTFRA memberships were only open to include Reps and Manufacturers, however, new with year is the opportunity for Retailers to sign up with limited memberships. Reps and Manufacturers will be the only ones able to hold an office position, however, voting rights will be extended to Retailers, in addition to other perks at ToyFest West including drink tickets, discounts for Game Day, electronic listings of ToyFest exhibitors and more.
Attendee Registration now is open for retailers, and will open up to exhibitors by October.
