Zing is looking to hire an E-Commerce Support Assistant to join its rapidly growing e-commerce department in Portland, Oregon. JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the E-commerce Director in generating B2C website sales and maintaining B2C sales channel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIlITIES
Management of B2C website:
• Update website content (products, content, promotions, etc.)
• Implement website changes and functional improvements
• Manage website configuration & parameters (payment options, stock management, etc.)
• Report operational/technical issues and resolve the issues
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content for Social Media
Marketing B2C website:
• Work with Graphic Designer to create banners, images, and promotions for B2C website
• With guidance of E-Commerce Director, work with external agencies to promote website traffic & sales
• Maintain and update the online marketing plan for the website
• Work with E-commerce Director to develop and implement a social media marketing plan
Reporting:
• Monitor key performance indicators on the website, report findings to E-Commerce Director, and make recommendations for improvement
• Document ongoing website functional projects /improvements
• Daily communication with e-commerce external agencies and internal team about the management of the website
• Evaluate approaches & strategies to improve website sales conversions & customer engagement
QUALIFICATIONS
• Understanding disciplines required to drive traffic to retail websites (PPC, email marketing, link generation, online PR, SEO, offline marketing, etc.)
• Understanding of order management/customer fulfilment in an E-commerce context
• Familiar with Excel and Photoshop
• Basic understanding of web technologies (FTP, browsers, basic HTML, data files)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Basic understanding of Google products such as Webmaster Tools & Analytics would be desirable
• Ability to build strong, positive working relationships
• Excellent phone etiquette, spelling and grammar
• Bachelor’s degree or working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, E-Commerce, or Computer Science
