Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) is hiring a Foundation Coordinator. The Foundation Coordinator is responsible for providing staff support to the Executive Director and the TIF Managers with the following:
- Fundraising and toy solicitation campaigns as needed, including contact list building and solicitations
- Assist Foundation Manager with donor relations and cultivation efforts, as well as data entry and gift receipting
- Draft select fundraising appeals and assist in fundraising appeal distribution
- Assist with execution of social media strategy and content development. Develop and manage initiatives to engage young professionals in supporting the Foundation
- Assist with the planning and execution of the Foundation’s presence at trade shows/toy collections. Represent the Foundation at toy distributions and other events. Research and vet vendors for Foundation events and projects. Periodically recruit volunteers to assist with in-office needs
- Provide Executive Director with administrative support. Compile meeting minutes for internal and external Foundation meetings
- Assist Foundation Manager with development of major fundraising campaigns e.g. TOTY Tribute Book
- Additional duties as assigned by managers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3–5 years F/T work experience
- Strong project management, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Highly detail oriented while managing multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong research skills. Familiarity with popular social media outlets (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
- Ability to travel as needed. A valid driver license required
- Computer literacy fundamentals including working knowledge of Word, Excel, and the internet. Fundraising database management experience a plus.
- Business-minded with a passion for nonprofit work
- Positive and team-oriented attitude
