Ohio Art is seeking a highly motivated, team-orientated manager of product development. This position is responsible for the complete design process for innovative new toy lines from the initial concept stages to production-ready products. Lead, manage, and design with an established design team to develop successful new toy concepts by working collaboratively with internal sales, marketing, and engineering teams as well as external resources, manufacturers, and distribution partners. Manage initial development and continual maintenance of all new and existing product lines. The candidiate must stay at the forefront of ever-changing toy/consumer trends in order to bring innovative product to market in a dynamic and fast-paced industry. The qualified candidate should also possess analytical, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required as well as proficiency in related design software. A minimum of five years of experience is required. Domestic and foreign travel is required with this position.
