McFarlane Toys tapped Headstart International to be its distribution partner in Australia and New Zealand. Stock will become available via Headstart starting January 2022.
McFarlane Toys is a U.S. action figure manufacturer, founded by comic book creator Todd McFarlane. He established the company in 1994 to create and sell action figures based on his comic book character, Spawn.
The company now makes licensed action figures in collaboration with multiple comic book, video game, and pop culture brands — including the DC Multiverse, My Hero Academia, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Warhammer, The Witcher, Mortal Kombat, Seven Deadly Sins, and Critical Role.
Headstart International is a toymaker based in Australia. In October, the company made its debut in the U.S. market, launching its Resoftables line of plush toys made from recycled bottles in Walmart stores.
