The Western Toy and Hobby Representatives Association (WTHRA) is relocating ToyFest West 2022 to a new Las Vegas venue as it celebrates its 60th year.
The west coast toy trade show is planned to take place at the newly opened Expo at World Market Center in downtown Las Vegas from March 9-11, 2022.
This is a return for the show, which postponed its March 2021 dates due to COVID-19. Registration for 2022 is now open to retailers, while exhibitor registration will open by November.
Attendees can expect the return of the morning masterpieces craft fair, game night, toy business educational seminar, show specials, the ToyFest cash and product raffles, and the welcoming gala where members of the toy industry are inducted into the Western Toy & Hobby Representatives Hall of Fame and the industry honors the “Retailer of the Year.”
WTHRA will reveal more information as it finalizes its 2022 Hall of Fame inductees, Retailer of the Year, seminar speakers, game night and morning masterpieces sponsors, and hotel reservations.
WTHRA will hold a membership drive this month, offering perks to manufacturers for joining — including lead retrieval at ToyFest; name, company, and details in the show directory and ToyFest West website, and special reduced rates for certain WTHRA functions.
WTHRA president Lawrence Nissen noted, “some members have returned year after year, dating back to the early ’60s, to show their support.”
