Hasbro, Inc. announced that Jess Richardson was promoted to vice president, global licensed consumer products — toys and games. Richardson will lead a newly created global team to continue to mine the full Hasbro IP portfolio to accelerate Hasbro’s broad brand portfolio on a global scale in the Toy, Sporting Goods, and Game categories.
“The work that Jess has led on Tonka, Micro Machines, Lite Brite, Spirograph, Nerf Sports and Monopoly game expansion has been instrumental to our success this year,” said Casey Collins, senior vice president and general manager of global consumer products at Hasbro. “I am confident that Jess will continue to build on this success in this new position as he leads the development and execution of strategic plans for the Toy & Games super categories business across all regions.”
Richardson will transition from his current position as Sr Director Category Licensing, North America, Hardlines, into his new role in late August. A search for his successor is actively underway.
