Headstart International announced their launch of a new sustainable plush brand, Resoftables, animals that will be produced from 100% recycled plastic bottles.
Headstart plans to repurpose over one million plastic bottles next year alone. Headstart executives are working closely with the recycling plant to develop the plush material.
“Resoftables has been one of the most exciting initiatives for Headstart leading into 2020,” said Andrew Hendy, CEO of Headstart International. “We know our customers are asking for cost effective, sustainable products and we’re ready to introduce a safe and soft recycled plush to the ever-changing market.”
Each 14-inch Resoftables plush will reuse approximately eleven plastic bottles. Resoftables will be available globally from April 2020. Headstart will be showcasing Resoftables at New York Toy Fair on February 22nd to 25th at booth NCLM-07 located in the North Concourse Lobby.
