Potterheads can officially get their hands on the all-new Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak this Thursday, August 1. Created by Wow! Stuff in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the Wizarding World-inspired gear, will be available through Walmart and Amazon.
Through its own bit of technology magic, the Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak makes it look like anyone or anything disappears when looked at through a smart phone or tablet.
The roleplay garb comes comes with a unique authentication code that allows users to unlock the power behind the Invisibility Cloak with the free downloadable Wow! Stuff app for both iOS and Android devices. The Invisibility Cloak features authentic patterning seen in the films and a green silk style interior.
It will be available globally and has already been awarded Innovative Toy of the Year at Sweden’s Toy Awards.
Opportunity to pre-order the product began in early July for those in the U.S., giving them the chance to secure their Invisibility Cloak and have it shipped out on August 1, as they hit Walmart shelves across the country.
The Cloak is designed for fans ages 8 and up. It is sold in a standard and deluxe version. The standard version (MSRP $69.99) includes detailed patterning and a foldaway stand to steady your smart device while in use. The deluxe version (MSRP $79.99) features authentic patterning with serpent intertwined borders and includes a deluxe table-top tripod to hold a smart device.
