PBS Kids Launches OddTube Short-Form Series
PBS Kids is launching its first-ever digital short-form spinoff: OddTube. This miniseries will feature 20, one- to three-minute episodes hosted by Agent Olympia from the hit series Odd Squad. The new spinoff will give fans a new way to engage with their favorite show. In the shorts, Olympia will appear at her desk at Odd Squad HQ, talk directly to the camera and encourage interaction and submissions from the audience. As just one example, viewers will be asked to vote on various topics or send in their own ideas that will then influence future OddTube episodes.
Produced by The Fred Rogers Company and Sinking Ship Entertainment, OddTube will live on PBS Kids’ YouTube channel, as well as pbskids.org and the multi-platform PBS Kids Video app (on mobile, tablet, and OTT devices). New episodes will roll out every week starting today (November 10) through March 23, 2017.
