Oznoz in Deal with Splash Entertainment
Oznoz.com, the online channel for bilingual kids, announced its partnership with Splash Entertainment, LLC, a distributor of children’s content. The deal will make Oznoz the host of Chloe’s Closet, Dive Olly Dive, Cosmic Quantum, Pet Alien, ToddWorld, and The DaVincibles in Castillian and neutral Spanish, French, Korean, Portuguese, and Russian. This is the first time Splash’s library will be available for U.S. audiences in this array of languages.
Oznoz is an SVOD platform catering to bilingual families in North America, providing entertainment through educational and fun shows in over 10 languages. Splash Entertainment joins the list of kids’ content providers on Oznoz, along with Nelvana, Sesame Workshop, and HIT Entertainment.
TIA to Host West Coast Port Seminar
The Toy Industry Association (TIA) is hosting an educational seminar at the Port of Long Beach in California on Thursday, May 21. The goal is to help toy companies gain a better understanding of what caused 2014’s West Coast port delays and to provide information for making logistical decisions going forward.
During the day-long seminar, transportation and maritime experts from the Port of Long Beach will address key factors that contributed to the congestion—from drawn out labor disputes to logistical inefficiencies at the ports—and provide an in-depth look at what toy companies can do to best prepare themselves for holiday 2015. The seminar will close with a discussion of how TIA will continue educating stakeholders and advocating on behalf of toy company interests on transportation and logistics issues.
Speakers will include maritime trade consultants, port authorities, TIA staff, and leadership from the Pacific Maritime Association (invited), and the International Longshore Warehouse Union.
