Guitar Hero Live Launches
Activision Publishing announced the introduction of Guitar Hero Live, which will bring the Guitar Hero franchise to a new generation with many notable enhancements. Developed by FreeStyleGames, Guitar Hero Live introduces two ways to play, including GH Live, a first-person point of view where you are up on stage as the star of the show. GH Live is a live-action experience that delivers the full emotional roller coaster of being on stage and performing in a real band, in front of real crowds, who dynamically react in real-time to how you play. As the lead guitarist, you play an array of songs in a variety of venues.
Guitar Hero Live also introduces GHTV, the world’s first playable music video network. GHTV is a 24-hour mode that lets fans play along to a continually updated collection of official music videos across a variety of genres. In GHTV, fans can also play with their friends in the same room and against players from around the world to see who has the highest score on a given song, while completing challenges along the way.
The innovations in Guitar Hero Live also extend to mobile. Both GH Live and GHTV are fully playable both on consoles as well as tablets and mobile phones. More details on this feature will be announced soon.
In addition, Guitar Hero Live enhances the gameplay experience by introducing a redesigned guitar controller, featuring two rows of three buttons that Activision says better reflects the way people naturally play.
Guitar Hero Live will be available this fall on PlayStation4, PlayStation3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, WiiU, and select mobile devices to be announced soon.
Funrise, L.A. Dodgers in Promotion
Funrise Toy Corporation has signed an exclusive agreement with The Los Angeles Dodgers making its premium Gazillion Bubbles brand the Official Bubbles of the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 2015 MLB season. Throughout the season, more than one million Dodger fans and families will be treated to Gazillion Bubbles activations throughout their Dodger Stadium experience. Funrise will bring the bubble fun to each Sunday home game this season as part of the celebratory “Viva Los Dodgers” pregame events. Families can enjoy the Gazillion Bubble-blowing car and giant Monsoon bubble machine. Fans will also receive limited-edition Gazillion-branded giveaways during the events. Gazillion Bubbles will also be featured in the kids’ zone located in Dodger Stadium at select home games. Additional giveaways will take place for fans during the season.
