Dilbert Coming to a Presentation Near You

Resolution, Inc, The Dilbert Store’s e-commerce provider and licensee, pioneered the system that allows anyone interested in utilizing a Dilbert strip in their work to visit thedilbertstore.com and click the licensing tab to easily purchase reuse rights to a strip or strips.

Prospective purchasers utilize The Dilbert Store’s “Strip-O-Matic” to search more than 7,660 Dilbert Comic Strips by character, date range, keyword, or a combination of all three.

After securely purchasing a strip for reuse, customers can immediately download strips for use. In addition, the user can also purchase tees, prints, or mugs customized with the same Dilbert comic strip. This online process provides consumers with a full service store with immediate delivery of licensed assets.

“Its a whole new way to handle intellectual property management,” says Scott Adams, Dilbert’s creator.

The Last Airbender and Bazooka in Deal

In conjunction with the July 2 release of M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender, a film based on the Nickelodeon series, Bazooka Candy Brands will launch a multi-platform merchandising program for its top candy lines this month.

The Last Airbender merchandising units will contain top-selling non-chocolate candies Baby Bottle Pop candy, Jumbo Push Pop lollipop, and Juicy Drop Pop candy. The merchandisers are constructed to create a 3-D appearance of the characters battling each other.

As part of the campaign, Bazooka Candy Brands will create an online destination with the development of a promotional website, Candymania.com. This will house a major multi-level game featuring characters from the movie. Retail initiatives will also be supported by extensive television and online advertising on kid-oriented outlets to increase awareness.
