Heathside Trading Signs License Agreement with MOLANG to Produce Toys, Collectables and Gifts

Heathside Trading Ltd has established an agreement with Millimages to become a licensee for Molang in the UK, Europe and USA. The agreement was brokered by Kirsty Guthrie (KJG Ltd) for bRand-Ward Service. The Molang licensed line, which will launch Q3 2024 through selected retail partners will include a variety of toys, collectables and gifts. With over 7M followers across social media, Molang is an international TV, social media, licensing and merchandising phenomenon. It has had huge exposure and engagement worldwide, with 712m views on YouTube Kids and 18m on the adult YouTube channel. In 2023 alone, Molang gained 821k Tik Tok subscribers and 335k on Instagram.

NFL Players Team Up with Dr. Seuss and Creative Minds Publications to Tackle Reading

Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Creative Minds Publications announced that they have teamed up with the NFL for the 8th annual Tackle Reading event. Tackle Reading events are assembly-style celebrations held during the week of Dr. Seuss’s Birthday, and are designed to inspire children at underserved schools to fall in love with reading. At each of the events a current or alumnus NFL player will read a beloved Dr. Seuss book at a school-wide assembly. As part of the event, students will have the opportunity to hear motivational messages directly from the NFL athletes. Every school will receive a diverse collection of Random House Children’s Books titles for their library, each student will receive their own Dr. Seuss book from Random House Children’s Books, and teachers will receive Cat in the Hat style hats donated by Fun.com. The event will also feature other fun elements such as NFL team mascots, cheerleaders, and more.

“Milo” Arrives to the US Thanks to an Agreement Between DeAPlaneta Entertainment and PBS Kids

DeAPlaneta Entertainment and PBS, the American public broadcaster, have signed a deal to distribute Milo, the award-winning and successful preschool series co-produced by Fourth Wall (UK) and DeAPlaneta Entertainment. Milo, which is already broadcasted on more than 170 countries and has been dubbed into more than 20 languages, will arrive to PBS KIDS and its free streaming platforms on May 2024. Milo will also be available to stream on the PBS KIDS Prime Video Channel. Diego Ibáñez Belaustegui, Chief Brand Officer at DeAPlaneta Kids & Family, has declared: “We can think of no better partner to bring Milo to U.S.-based audiences than PBS KIDS, one of the most relevant kids’ networks in the world, which shares with us the commitment to delivering exceptional content to young audiences and families. Moonbug’s ‘Morphle & The Magic Pets’ To Debut on Disney March 20th

Moonbug Entertainment (CoComelon, Blippi), a subsidiary of Candle Media, along with Disney Branded Television, will debut a new CGI original series, Morphle and the Magic Pets, on Disney Junior and Disney+ starting Wednesday, March 20, 2024. The series will include 52 x 7-minute episodes and 50 x 3-minute shorts. This series, an evolution from the original YouTube series, features a brand-new, premium look and more in-depth storytelling. Following its premiere in the U.S., the series will start rolling out globally (excluding China) on Disney+ and Disney Junior at a later date.
