Brand New, Action-Packed Animated Series ‘Digital Girl’ Now in Production

A Productions, a leading UK-based animation production studio, and Cyber Group Studios, a leading producer and distributor of animated programs for kids and families, are proud to announce the start of production of the brand new adventure-comedy superhero series, Digital Girl. Commissioned by BBC (United Kingdom) and pre-sold to Super RTL (Germany) and Discovery Kids (Latin America), the series aimed at kids, is set to be delivered in late 2024.

Flying Bark Productions to Animate Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation’s Untitled Avatar film

Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation have enlisted Flying Bark Productions to animate their first recently announced Untitled Avatar feature film in a newly confirmed partnership with Avatar Studios.

Now recruiting, Flying Bark Productions (Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, LEGO Monkie Kid, What If…?) is seeking Australian and international artists across several 2D animation and CG departments which will see successful candidates join the team in Sydney Australia in early 2023. YouTube Originals Launches TeamTO’s Behind the Beats

YouTube Originals Kids & Family announces the launch of Behind the Beats, a new animated pop music anthology series produced by TeamTO and 22D Music Group in partnership with France Télévisions. Episodes 1 ‒ 4 will debut on Friday, 18th November on the YouTube Originals channel and the YouTube Kids app. Behind the Beats (26 x 5’) is an animated series for families that tells the stories of how talented musicians with incredibly different styles came together, revealing the often-unexpected origins of new musical genres. Who knew the beats of these original tunes still reverberate in today’s pop music?! Using funky, dynamic animated storytelling with our lively narrators, the series explores the stories behind movements such as New Wave, Rock’n’Roll, G-Funk, Reggae, Electro Pop and Trap. Episode examples, which feature three songs each, include Punk Meets Disco (how Blondie paved the way to the New Wave) and Gangsta Rap Meets P-Funk (how Snoop Dogg paved the way to G-Funk).

Xilam Animation Makes Waves with Zig & Sharko Season Four Sales

Academy Award-nominated French animation studio Xilam Animation has secured its first wave of deals for the upcoming fourth season of its iconic non-dialogue slapstick comedy series Zig & Sharko (78 x 7’), as the company prepares to debut the first episode to buyers at MIPCOM. Launching in September 2023, season four has been acquired by longstanding partner Gulli (France), which has also renewed its partnership across the previous three seasons. Additionally, Xilam has sold the new installment to existing partners VRT-Ketnet (Belgium), Discovery (Italy), DeA (Italy), Nickelodeon (India) and Nova TV (Israel).
