Outright Games, the leading publisher of family-friendly interactive entertainment, in partnership with BBC Studios, has announced that the first ever Bluey video game will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC on November 17th, 2023. ‘Bluey: The Videogame’ is based on the Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning global TV show that follows Bluey, a loveable, inexhaustible, Blue Heeler dog, who lives with her Mum, Dad, and her little sister, Bingo. Like every kid her age, the thing Bluey likes to do best is play games. Will Misty finally join forces with the other ponies? The hit entertainment series My Little Pony: Make Your Mark returns to Netflix for Chapter 5 with 6 new 22-minute episodes. This animated series serves as a fantastical look into the day-to-day quests of Sunny, Hitch, Izzy, Pipp, and Zipp and features an assortment of sentimental and hilarious stories that have made it a fan favorite series. My Little Pony: Make Your Mark Chapter 5 continues the story of Misty officially becoming a part of the group! After helping The Mane 5 save Sparky, earning her own cutie mark, and turning her back on Opaline – the six ponies must work together to uncover more of Misty’s past, grow stronger as a group, and search for a way to beat Opaline before she gains the strength to take over all of Equestria. Zigazoo Kids, the world’s largest kid-safe social media platform for Generation Alpha that has prominent investors including Jimmy Kimmel, Serena Williams, Charli and Dixie D’Amelio and the NBA, is marking a major milestone for its Celebrity Reads literacy program. As the 100th celebrity to make a special visit to the platform to read a book to Zigazoo users, Shark Tank personality, entrepreneur, and investor Daymond John will read his recently released children’s book, Little Daymond Learns to Earn (Random House Children’s Books). Zigazoo Kids initially launched the Celebrity Reads program in July 2021 with the purpose of encouraging kids to read, especially during summer months when kids are out of school and don’t have as much opportunity to hone their reading skills. Since launch, a number of popular celebrities have participated in the program including Kristin Chenoweth, Karamo Brown, Elizabeth Olsen, Camila McConaughey, Kel Mitchell, Holly Robinson Peete, Bethany Hamilton, Diane Kruger, and Max Greenfield.

Spanish-language versions of fan favorites Sesame Street, and Cookie Monster’s Foodie Truck will now be available with descriptive audio and captions through a collaboration with Dicapta and funding from the U.S. Department of Education (DOE). Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind the Sesame-branded series, will also include expanded accessibility for Plaza Sesamo, Listos a Jugar, Pequenas Aventureras, Monstruos en Red, Elmo and Tango’s Mysterious Mysteries, and The Furchester Hotel, all of which are available on Plaza Sesamo’s YouTube channel.

As podcast popularity soars among kids and families, PBS KIDS continues to deliver free, engaging, and entertaining content for young audiences nationwide. Just in time for the back-to-school season, things will kick off in September on the PBS KIDS Video App with a new original podcast series, Jamming on the job, which introduces kids to a variety of interesting jobs while helping them see how their own interests and skills relate to those of the professionals they meet in the series. An eagerly anticipated third season of The Arthur Podcast, the hit podcast based on the well-loved, long-running animated series, will premiere this November. And in January, Playdate with the Wombats! will launch, fulfilling many kids’ wishes for playdates with the characters they know and love from the animated preschool series Work it out Wombats!.

Wondery Kids & Family, a division of top podcast studio and network Wondery, and Dr Seuss Enterprises, a leading global children’s entertainment company, announced an expansive deal.  The two entities will bring the quintessential and beloved world of Dr Seuss to life through an upcoming line-up of podcast programming that is fun for the whole family, and will spark curiosity and imagination in young minds and nostalgia in Seuss fans of all ages.  Leading the content roster will be the September 18 premiere of The Cat in the Hat Cast, a fantastical variety show-style podcast series hosted by everyone’s favorite red and white hat-wearing Cat from the internationally renowned best-selling book The Cat in the Hat, available exclusively on Wondery+ through the Wondery app, and on Wondery Kids+ on Apple Podcasts.

Dr. Laurie Santos is teaming up with Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, for a special three-episode series on The Happiness Lab podcast that will focus on concrete strategies parents can use to help themselves and their children feel happier. With help from some of the beloved characters and songs from Sesame Street, Dr. Santos explores why it’s never too early, or too late, to improve your emotional well-being. The series will feature the familiar voices of Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, and Grover, all while tackling themes related to improving the emotional well-being of parents and children. Some of the themes spotlighted in the three episodes include strategies for how to properly regulate emotions and ways we can sweep away overtly negative self-criticism.
