Sesame Place Philadelphia, the first theme park in the US based entirely on the award-winning show Sesame Street, and Just Play, a leading, global toy company, will team up for the all-new Dino Stomp Celebration for one weekend only this season. The celebration will feature exclusive prizes and giveaways from Just Play, including the all-new Dino Stomp Elmo, a dino-mite Elmo plush dressed in a cuddly green dinosaur costume that sings, moves his arms, and stomps along to the “If You’re Happy and You Know It” song.
Sesame Place and Just Play will celebrate National Dinosaur Day, which falls on June 1 each year, on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4 with whimsical and dino-mite weekend fun. The event will include:
• Dino Dine – Guests can enjoy a delicious, tyrannosaurus-sized, buffet-style meal and extra time with their favorite furry friends at this exclusive, dinosaur-themed Dine with Elmo & Friends at 4pm each day of the event. This fun-filled experience will be filled with tasty dino-themed treats and feature a Meet & Greet with Elmo in his dinosaur costume. Additional fee and reservations are required for Dine with Elmo & Friends.
• Dino Egg Scavenger Hunt – Two Golden Dinosaur Eggs will be hidden in the park prior to opening, and the first guest to find one and bring it to the Welcome Center will receive their very own Dino Stomp Elmo at the Welcome Center! One prize will be given out per Golden Dinosaur Egg.
In addition to roaring good fun, guests can spin, soar, whirl, and twirl on their favorite Sesame Street-themed attractions. This includes the all-new Bert & Ernie’s Splashy Shores and new Big Bird’s Beach, set to debut on Saturday, May 27, as part of the park’s Most Splashtacular Season Ever. Sesame Street friends will be available for photos at Photo with Elmo & Friends and in the iconic Sesame Street Neighborhood.
