Los Angeles-based streetwear company DREAM Clothing is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Cloudco Entertainment’s beloved and iconic property, Care Bears, with limited-edition drops. The first planned clothing release was exclusively made for Pride month and launched on June 1. Subsequent limited-edition releases were dropped during the month of June and are continuing through July.
The collections are made to provide fans of Care Bears and DREAM Clothing with high-quality statement pieces to bring awareness and provide paid access to therapy for the LGBTQIA+ community during Pride month, and beyond. DREAM Clothing has raised over $400,000 for its mental health nonprofit charity partners since launching in 2018. DREAM has also helped pay for over 2600+ hours of therapy and has directly connected supporters of the brand with licensed therapists.
“For all we do and what we stand for as a brand, we are honored to work with the Care Bears for these limited-edition collections. The Care Bears are representative of DREAM as a brand through and through,” said DREAM Clothing founder, Sammy Sucu.
“Care Bears fans have been celebrating sharing, caring, kindness, and inclusivity for over 40 years now,” added Cloudco Entertainment’s Head of Global Licensing, Robert Prinzo. “We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the DREAM team and amplify these values through beautifully designed, limited-edition collections.”
In tandem with Cloudco Entertainment, DREAM Clothing is hoping to raise over $100,000 for the DREAM Pride Fund established for the Care Bears collections and further the support of paid therapy and other mental health-related initiatives.
The collections are available now with over 40+ products available for purchase with sizes up to 4XL for most garments. To learn more about DREAM and its mission, and to also support the Care Bears collaboration, visit dreamclothinghq.com/collections/care-bears.
