This holiday season, Hasbro launches its first-ever livestream shopping event.
Broadcast live via Hasbro’s Microsite, as well as its Instagram and Facebook live channels, Hasbro Holiday Shopping Live kicks off November 12 at 12 p.m. EST.
The program’s hosts — TV personality Daphne Oz and Buzzfeed contributor Iván Emilio — will showcase toys from Hasbro brands including Nerf, My Little Pony, Peppa Pig, and Play-Doh.
Throughout the broadcast, consumers will be able to browse and purchase toys and games via shoppable tags directly on the Microsite.
The event will also feature guest appearances, including a line-up of family creators. Meanwhile, viewers can expect product demonstrations, as well as tips and tricks from gift wrap expert Alton DuLaney.
“We’ve planned a dynamic shopping experience that combines the fun of live video and the convenience of mobile shopping. It’s a one-stop-shop and takes the guesswork out of what to buy for the holidays and delivers a perfect gift right from ‘shelf’ to your door this holiday season,” said Hasbro’s chief consumer officer Eric Nyman. “Today’s consumers crave easy access to product recommendations and simplified online shopping more than ever before, and we look forward to meeting them where they are to deliver a fun and entertaining online shopping experience.”
