IMC Toys announced a new agreement with David Becker of Blue Plate Media Services (BPMS) and kids content distribution executive Andrew Berman to distribute its animated content in the U.S.
Via its YouTube page, Kitoons, IMC publishes content for its brands including Cry Babies Magic Tears and VIP Pets. In its partnership with Becker and Berman, the company is looking to grow its customer base in the North American market. BPMS will represent both television and streaming sales as well as distribution of the IMC Cry Babies Magic Tears and VIP Pets series.
“This is an extraordinary opportunity to work with a first in class toy company with a proven brand and high quality content,” said Becker. “Having the right team behind you is just as important and I am proud to be working alongside Andrew Berman, whose experience and reputation within the kids’ space precedes him. Together, we will make IMC Toys animated series just as popular as the toys that inspired them.”
Cry Babies Magic Tears and VIP Pets have already been sold to several kids’ networks across Europe. To provide kids with an immersive experience that extends beyond the physical product, IMC Toys premieres new seasons of each show to coincide with product launches from their respective brands.
“We put great thought into the content we produce and can’t wait to have it shared with even more fans in the U.S. market,” said Raquel Roca, communications head at IMC. “We are very pleased to be working with such seasoned industry veterans who will undoubtedly use their expertise to broaden our audience.”
