Moose Toys is bringing in National Friendship Day on August 1 with the debut of its Blingle Bands DIY craft kit, which allows kids to design and share friendship bracelets.
Blingle Bands allow kids to use provided templates or create original patterns for their bracelets. They are designed to be mess-free, so kids can dip their Blingle pen into the wax, dot the gem onto the pen, and bling the gem onto their pen in three steps.
The new line is at the center of a National Friendship Day campaign Moose has planned in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of Venice and actress and recording artist Sky Katz. The celebration kicks off in Los Angeles at Westfield Century City, where kids can hang out, take pictures, and craft their own Blingle Bands to wear and share. The Boys & Girls Club of Venice will be in attendance at the public meet-up.
Meanwhile, on TikTok and Instagram, Sky Katz will share a series of Blingle Bands tips. Moose Toys has a full friendship campaign with additional influencer partners on TikTok and the Boys & Girls Club of Venice on Instagram; the company will also be running national media to promote Blingle Bands and its message of friendship.
The kits are available as Bestie Packs to create two bracelets, Starter Pods that make five bracelets, and the Deluxe Studio that makes eight bracelets. The three pack options are currently for sale at Walmart.com and will roll out to Amazon, Target.com, and more retailers nationwide on August 1.
