Elizabeth Arden, Bazooka in Perfume Deal
Elizabeth Arden, Inc., and Bazooka Candy Brands, a division of The Topps Company, Inc., announced a strategic partnership for the launch of Mariah Carey’s new candy-inspired fragrance collection, Lollipop Bling, which has just debuted in select department stores. Lollipop Bling was inspired by the fun and playful nature of Mariah’s marriage proposal—an engagement ring hidden inside an iconic Ring Pop lollipop package. The marketing campaign to promote the fragrance incorporates Ring Pop lollipops into the print advertisements for Lollipop Bling, offers Ring Pop sampling with the sale of Lollipop Bling at select retailers, and will include the candy in the fragrance’s displays at retail stores.
Additionally, in time for Valentine’s Day 2011, Walmart will promote the fragrance with integrated display racks featuring both Lollipop Bling and Ring Pop, with the candy in special “Bling Collection” three-packs.
Lollipop Bling’s 1.0 fl. oz. scents currently retail for an MSRP of $35 each and are available at department stores nationwide such as Macy’s, Dillard’s, Belk, Bon Ton, Boscov’s, Ulta and Sephora inside JCPenney.
