New Hires at FremantleMedia Kids & Family
FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment announced the appointment of three new senior roles. Henry Or as vice-president, Kids & Family Entertainment, Asia; Tracy Griffiths as vice-president, licensing and consumer products EMEA & Australia and Nicola Herrmann as global brand director. The news completes the restructure of the Consumer Products business announced earlier this year and bolsters the division’s brand management team. Or will be based in Hong Kong, while Griffiths and Herrmann will work from FremantleMedia’s offices in Central London.
Or joins FremantleMedia from Hit Entertainment, Ltd. where he was director for Asia. Griffiths also joins FremantleMedia’s KFE team from Hit Entertainment where she was group director, Softlines, for EMEA. Herrmann joins the business from Zodiak Rights, where she was head of brand marketing.
Hynes Joins VTech
VTech announced that Sean Hynes is now vice-president of sales. A marketing veteran with more than 20 years of experience, including 15 years in the toy industry, Hynes will oversee VTech’s sales operations from its U.S. headquarters in Chicago, Ill.
Prior to joining VTech, Hynes served as vice-president of sales for North America at Bandai Namco, Inc., for seven years. Hynes previously held sales leadership positions at Irwin Toy Limited, Hedstrom Corp., American Greetings, and Comark Merchandising.
Victor Joins BeginAgain
BeginAgain has signed an agreement to distribute Artterro’s line of arts and crafts kits and recently hired Justin Victor as director of national sales. Victor brings more than a decade of toy industry experience to his new position as director of national sales for BeginAgain. Previous positions include Mattel, Fisher-Price, and Radica.
