The Wiggles Sign Wicked Cool as Master Toy Licensee
Wicked Cool Toys announced that it has signed a master toy license for The Wiggles. Wicked Cool will manufacture, distribute, and market a broad range of toys for preschoolers based on the children’s property to coincide with The Wiggles’ debut of its new cast and 2013 worldwide tour.
Under the new agreement for North America and Australia, facilitated by The Wiggles’ licensing agency, Brandberry, Wicked Cool intends to develop plush, musical instruments, and more. The Wiggles line targets children ages 2–6, and is expected to launch at retail in fall 2013.
Mezco Toyz Signs Deal to Create Breaking Bad Merchandise
Mezco Toyz announced that it has signed a deal with Sony Pictures Consumer Products to create a line of collectibles for the AMC series Breaking Bad. Mezco will be offering an assortment of merchandise for the Breaking Bad license including Mez-Itz, action figures, bobbleheads, accessories, paperweights, and plush. Many of the designs are expected to be shown at New York Toy Fair in February.
