Saban Is Hiring a Director of Partnerships and Promotions

Position Overview:
The Director of Partnerships and Promotions for Saban Brands will be responsible for developing and managing all advertiser and promotional partnerships as well as all retail and business-to-business marketing and events. Management responsibilities include the development of strategic promotional partnerships and promotions to generate incremental revenue, extend marketing value and reach for brands and their products, generate marketing and promotional opportunities through synergistic, advertiser and licensee/licensor relationships, and create new and innovative experiential marketing strategies through live events, sponsorships and other media and marketing platforms. The Director of Partnerships and Promotions will report to the Executive Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new, strategic promotional partnerships by creating and leveraging marketing opportunities and other coordinated efforts
  • Build and guide Vortexx Advertising Sales by creating innovative promotional opportunities with advertisers that secure advertiser relationships, spending levels, and/or drive incremental revenue
  • Lead the development of marketing opportunities that extend and enhance our ability to reach new and existing audiences, including events, special marketing activities, program/product sampling, grassroots marketing and other non-traditional strategies and tactics
  • Develop and manage the execution of cross-promotion, messaging, product integration, and other marketing opportunities
  • Effectively negotiate exposure and marketing opportunities to ensure proper value exchange between partners
  • Partner with licensing and retail teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives that increase floor space, sales and/or product placement within marketing materials and media
  • Oversee the development of all sales and promotional materials
  • Manage all trade and business-to-business media and events for Saban Brands, Power Rangers, Paul Frank, Vortexx, and any additional acquired brands

Education and Experience:

  • BS/BA Degree in Marketing, Business and/or Communications
  • Minimum of eight years of overall marketing experience in areas of partnership marketing, integrated marketing, promotional marketing, and/or creative marketing
  • Experience in advertiser partnerships and integration
  • Understanding of entertainment/television industries
  • Understanding of licensing industry
  • Proactive approach to problem solving, efficiency, and effectiveness strategy tactics
  • Exceptional track record developing and executing marketing, promotional and brand strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
  • Outstanding ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-level results
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Collaborate effectively with others to identify and resolve issues
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and marketing colleagues across various industries
  • Ability to travel for business meetings and events and to work flexible and long working hours
