Steiff Celebrates Global James Bond Day with new Villainous Bond Bear

Steiff, the inventors of the teddy bear, first brought James Bond to life in teddy bear form earlier this year with their Limited Edition James Bond “Dr. No” Musical Bear. The Dr. No Numbered Edition is a beautifully made musical bear with an internal wind-up musical box (a unique Steiff attribute), that plays the iconic 007 theme tune. The bear was crafted by hand in a limited edition of 3,000 bears, of which few are still available at Steiff and 007.com. Few figures are as iconic as the original international man of mystery, secret agent James Bond, cutting a sophisticated picture in his immaculate suit. The character is so widely beloved that all things Bond are celebrated annually on October 5th, in an homage to the date of the World Premiere of the first James Bond Film Dr. No on October 5th, 1962.

Sesame Workshop Launches New Resources to Help Children and Families Learn Financial Literacy Skills with Support from PNC Foundation

Sesame Workshop, the global impact nonprofit behind Sesame Street, released new resources to help young children learn the basic concepts that serve as a foundation for financial education. Created with generous support from PNC Foundation through PNC Grow Up Great, a nearly 20-year early childhood education initiative, the resources support early conversations around spending, sharing and saving money. Financial stability remains a top concern for families with young children and by supporting caregivers and educators in teaching foundational financial skills early, they can help prepare children to make sound financial decisions as they grow.

Moose Toys Wins and Wows at 2023 Toy of the Year Awards

Moose Toys, an innovative leader in the toy industry, won two prestigious accolades, including Champion of Diversity & Inclusion for Art Director Brent Bell in the inaugural people-focused awards, and an inaugural Marketing Campaign of the Year Award (Silver) at the Toy Foundation’s 24th annual Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards. The TOTY Award winners were announced at an awards ceremony at Cipriani’s 42nd Street in New York City, opening day of The Toy Association’s 2024 Preview and 2023 Holiday Market. “A dynamic, dedicated and zealously active leader, Brent was the catalyst for adding the LQBTQIA+ Workstream to Moose’s global workplace D&I initiatives,” said Paul Solomon, CEO, Moose Toys. “Under his leadership, Brent and his small team of volunteers designed a program that supports Moose’s commitment to building a workplace where everyone can be themselves and thrive.
